Create Sites
Stanford faculty or staff members can set up their own CourseWork sites in a matter of minutes.
Add Members
The official Axess course rosters will be added to most CourseWork sites automatically. You can also add individuals to your site who are not registered for the course (TAs, admins, guests, etc).
Re-Use Content
Re-use materials from a previous term by importing all of them or copying only relevant files and folders. You can also re-use other content, such as assignments, syllabus, and homepage content.
Post Syllabus
All syllabi posted to CourseWork are available at Stanford Syllabus (http://syllabus.stanford.edu). Students are eager to see course syllabi, so publish early (you can update your syllabus later as needed).
Add Materials
Uploading files is the most common method for adding content to the Materials tool. However, you can also create and post HTML (web) pages and simple text documents, and share links to useful web sites.
